  • So far so good!

Ryzen 5 2600x, been in my PC for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. No hitches, works flawlessly with Ryzen Master and is much, much faster than my previous 1300x. One thing I noticed was when loading in to Ryzen Master, I noticed My ECC percentage was at 99% in red. Easy fix to this is to set the Minimum Processor State to 5% under Power Options in the Control Panel. Otherwise it's worked without a hitch so far. Can't speak for the longevity of the chip, anything can happen. But it arrived on time and was unopened. And it worked, so 5 stars for now!

  • Works great and easy to use. The ease of use is amplified by my other components, but the CPU by itself is fantastic. CPU of the year.

Cheaper than Intel. Runs just as well (And sometimes better) as Intel. More user-friendly than Intel. Not a lot to gripe about here. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. An amazing buy at $189.99 in 2018. Do yourself a favor and go with AMD if you choose to build a PC unless Intel decides to do some groundbreaking stuff in the coming months. I will admit that- depending on your case and motherboard- the CPU fan is a pain to seat properly onto the CPU. I actually had to wipe off the pre-applied thermal paste and re-apply my own because I could not for the life of me get one of the screws to start, and I ended up messing the stuff that was pre-applied up by trying to re-seat it after pulling it off.. Now that I have experience building, I know that those suckers actually require a good bit of force to mount! Besides that, installation was a breeze. Once I got everything up and running, I did (light) benchmarks and found out that I have PLENTY of overhead to overclock if I choose to, because my CPU was running at an amazing sixty degrees Celsius- Well within the manufacturer's rated temperature ceiling. Good luck and happy building out there!

  • Wish I upgraded sooner from my FX.

I had an 8370 black edition which was a great processor, always running above 4ghz, had to buy an aftermarket cooler but no biggie, little did I know my FX processor was actually bottlenecking my computer even though it was high end and everything with my RX 580 my CPU became a bottleneck. fx8370 RX580 - Rainbow six siege, I could manage 60 fps with dips into 38 fps every minute or two, on medium settings. with the Ryzen 5 2600x (not overclock, stock cooler) I can run siege at 72 fps on ultra quality with my RX 580, if you haven't upgraded to ryzen or higher, do yourself a favour and just do it! it's so worth the money.

  • Awesome CPU!

I got really big improvements in FPS on my games switching to this and a GTX 1070 TI from my FX-8320 and GTX 970. The single core performance is just way better and the installation and Wraith Stealth Cooler were great. So far haven’t seen the need to overclock it at all. Huge performance boost to RTS games like Total War: Warhammer 2 and Company of Heroes 2. Awesome improvements to Overwatch and other shooters as well. Very pleased with this purchase

  • Amazing Price for Performance

This processor is pretty ridiculous. I bought it for a PC build that featured a GTX 1070 with the hopes I could achieve 4K and 1440p gaming. It does that with no hiccups. Cools well with a Noctua tower cooler and is lightning fast when paired with good RAM. I used Corsair Dominator 3200 MHz RAM and am blown away by how snappy the whole system is. 100% recommend this processor, and will likely build with Ryzen in the future.

  • Ryzen 5 2600x

Excellent cpu for gaming even in 2020, with the precision overdrive it clocks over 4.2ghz Runs a little warm but with a good aio it's fine A+ imho

  • Best bang for the buck.

Decided to finally upgrade my PC. This thing performs fantastic. I have it running at 3.8 GHz with a slight undervolt and it never goes above 65c, on an Asus Mobo. Get the fastest memory as you can, ryzen loves fast memory.

  • Highly revered

The Ryzen Series of CPU's are absolutely the best bang for the buck in comparison to their Intel counterpart. This processor is lightning fast with the 6 core /12 thread layout and overclocking capability. The Spire cooler and thick heatsink attribute to this potential. I do plan to upgrade coolers in the future, simply for longevity by keeping temps down. I have it paired with an ASRock B450 Gaming K4 mobo, 16GB ddr4-3000 ram, and RX 580 graphics card(600w EVGA power if you were wondering). Factory settings I can run 100+ FPS on World War Z(which is an optimal game for this setup) on high/ultra settings. Definitely recommend.
