Bought as an upgrade to the EF 24-105mm Lens
I was already using a Canon EF 24-105mm lens on a Canon SLR camera for the everyday photography I carry out. I had already purchased a new Canon EOS R Camera for my wildlife photography and have now decided to move fully over to the EOS R system and therefore I am was simply upgrading my lenses. My first impressions are that this lens is as good as the old EF lens after using it for the first time last weekend. This is an excellent zoom lens for the EOS R/RP range of mirrorless cameras. Comes with the more usable focal range than the RF 24-70mm which is a 'standard' zoom, and because of this it suites my type of photography more.
