    Little kids love building bugs!

    I bought this to enjoy with my grandchildren. It's the same edition we played with our our kids when they were little, and not much different than the Cootie Bugs I loved when I was little! I wish the bugs' eyes, legs, antennae and body parts would stay together better while building, but with a little care, we manage to build a lovely swarm of cooties. And we do get a good laugh when somebody's leg or head falls off. I really can't explain why little kids get such a big kick out of building bugs, but they do. We don't always play the actual game with the dice, and the cardboard sorting piece for all the parts is a nice idea, but not often used. We just like building bugs!

    Item as stated in description but there were some problems.

    Many of the holes in the body for insertion of the legs had hairline fractures in the plastic such that upon insertion of the legs would break out as the legs were inserted. I had to reinforce these with fiberglass containing epoxy to protect the integrity of the holes. After this was done I had no further problems with breakage.

    It has been around since the 50's

    Hey....Cootie was a game when I was a little kid and it is still around. What more do you need to say? I bought this vintage game to give to my granddaughter. Now we both have a vintage mid 1980's game. We can Skype or Facetime and play the game together, assembling our Cootie's both in NC and CA. It is a great game for 3+ year olds as they can learn numbers and assemble...

    Entertaining for little ones

    Very entertaining for young ones, only issue is that due to product being used, legs and ears tend to fall out easily. I applied clear nail polish to the holes and that seemed to help.

    Ageless Cootie

    I am a grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren. When I was a child my parents bought me the game Cootie. I purchased Cootie as a Christmas gift for all my Grands. They love it! It still brings the same amount of pleasure to them as it did to my sister and I! If you have children or grandchildren ages 4 to 12 you should purchase this game! The game is simple and the winner is determined by the role of the dice. It keeps these younger ones entertained for hours!
