Good replacement van pump
Replaced my Shurflo water pump on my Europa caravan, the pump was leaking, this was not the same model name, but the spec, profile and dimensions matched my original, so I took a chance. Old pump removal was a breeze, but do remember to take the washers off the rubber seats of the old pump. To fit the new one it is best to fit with screws and washers and do not over tighten the fixing as the rubber mounts need to dampen the noise from the pump. The pump comes with bare cables, so I used the existing connector block off the old pump, connecting with snap blocks. When I get a minute I intend to solder those connections and shrink wrap them. I primed the pump with a drop of water, but it is a run dry, so not really necessary. With water connected the pump on, and all worked out of the box, I did not need to adjust the pressure cut off, it just worked. The two water connections, finger tight, showed no sign of leaking, tested with hot water on, sower, bathroom and kitchen sink all worked. After initial air was forced out of the system, flow is clear, uninterrupted and strong, just the job. Very good indeed, thank you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great pump and value for money.
After being disappointed with a submersible pump supplied with a new sink and hob combination bundle kit for my camper van I purchased the Shurflo pump. The 30psi unit gives a good and constant flow of water and is quite in operation. It was very easy to fit about 3ft above the water storage tank. I have fitted a Shurflo filter to the pump and a non return valve to the tank outlet giving an instant delivery when opening the tap. Reliable Quality at a good price
Bought to replace a 16 year old similar model in motorhome. I have also had same in caravan previously. All good for at least 10 years use. Quiet.sturdy and reliable and reasonable price for such quality. When I had to replace on both occasions it was the diaphragm seal that failed but the first was due to freezing weather on way to site.
