Bought this for my husband. He is a ‘hobby’ mechanic. He doesn’t like the crawlers with wheels on, however low the clearance. He said this pad is nice & long & the foam feels firm quality. FOLDING WORK MAT/SEAT
Getting old is no fun, and working on my car is often a chore, especially if I have to kneel or lye on the ground. Searching on eBay, something I often do to find items to make life easier; I looked for a mechanics mat and found this item. It seemed the perfect answer to my problem of dodgy knees, so I purchased one. I have found it a great product. Nice and thick to absorb the pressure to my knees, yet soft enough to be comfortable and stable. Lying on it is also a joy. It also folds up to make a seat, and allows it to be stored in the car. The only slight problem I have found is that refolding it after use, it tends to unfold slightly. So I have used a trouser belt to secure it and also allow me to pick it up and carry it about easily.
