    Did the job well.

Bought these to remove a stainless steel Allen bolt in a plastic motorcycle panel. Couldn't get the drill in straight due to the position of the bolt so had to drill from 3 different positions all at different angles very carefully. Drill bits worked great and I carried out the task without damage to the panel which would have been irreplaceable without spending a lot of money. Really happy with my purchase.

  • Most critical review

if you just want to drill holes an average drill bit will do

not too good on hard steel studs, if slack will remove the stud other wise just drills a hole in it after a wile probably good on softer metals but stud removal is questionable

  • Very good value and good quality.

Sheared off exhaust bolt on 50cc scooter quite deep in the engine casing, I had tried to drill out with standard drill bits but had no joy. These drills bit into the broken stud and I gradually upped the size to bore to a normal hole. Sealey bits made the job easy, I used wd40 as a cutting oil and took my time, increasing the speed only when purchase on the stud became more difficult.

  • Good little set.

Good tool bought at a good price. Come in a nice little storage box.

  • Drill bits left handed

A brill idea now drills drive both ways, exhaust studs are hard and these did a good job, however I did snap the second thinnest one my fault for not being steady. Price wise a good buy though.

  • Worked really well for me.

Removed remains of a stuck sheared bolt out of my bike's exhaust header. Drill a very small guide / pilot hole first and go slow with cutting fluid. Saved me from a huge amount of cost and hassle getting someone else to do it. DO NOT USE "EASY OUT" extractors. Use these left handed bits. "Easy outs" grab and bind and then snap off as they go in and they are hardened steel so you end up with a snapped hardened steel bit to remove, which is a nightmare. These though, work a treat. Takes time to do carefully, but well worth trying.

  • Handy if broken bolt starts to move as it comes out and not further in

Concept is useful for removing broken bolts etc, unfortunately some bolts are harder than others ... and the harder they are the more brittle and likely to break they seem to be ... bearing this in mind these would be superb if only they had a high cobalt content ... other than that, does the job, use them slowly and use cutting oil with them if you want them to last

  • Alright set definitely not up to the task of drilling metal

Fine for wood and plaster terrible for metal which was the purpose of my purchase

  • Excellent product you will wish you had bought sooner.

I wish I had found out years ago that left hand drills existed! I have found these Sealey LH drill bits Incredibly useful for removing sheared off studs, screws, bolts etc. Often the very process of drilling the initial hole for a stud extractor is enough to actually remove the stuck item on its own. An essential workshop tool that may not be used often, but when it is, it can be a real a godsend.

  • Not worth the money better buy quality drill bits

Drill bits struggled with fairly soft metal brake disk security screws, had to use my RH HHS drill bits instead. Thought Sealey meant quality but sadly not the case for these!
