small neat and stylish
small neat does everything I need. easy to use and to set up. Like the fact it has 5 print cartridges makes colour so much better. Why so expensive in cartridges?
To me it’s just a replacement for the XP620 that has failed with a print bed “end of life” fault, being a very similar machine and presumably the updated version that does the same, ie double sided prints and using five cartridges. The shock came when I ordered a set of ‘pattern’ cartridges from my print shop, the set cost three times as much, that is £42 instead of the old XP620 set at about £12-15. Why on Earth does the so called ‘improved’ model cost three times as much to run, when it does exactly the same job? Brilliant little printer
Installation was relatively easy with the printer giving step by step guidance, print quality is excellent both for text and phots being produced to a good standard. only one slight drawback is that the photo paper tray does not take A4 size so the paper tray needs to be used for A4 photo paper but in general a great little printer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Prints well but slow and expensive to run.
This printer produces good prints so there is no problem here. However, it is painfully slow. When printing, it is quite fast. However, it takes a lot of time between instructing it to print and something happening - well over a ninute is normal. Would not recommend
Replaces a 10 year old Epson BX525WD, the XP6100 is VERY flimsy & fiddly have to lift control panel, open flap, then pull out paper out tray. Never saw in any reviews or online about a maintenance box, which collects ink drips & printer stops if this is full & a replacement is needed. Would not have bought if I had known this, unfortunately did not see in store due to none being available since covid 19.
