Should have bought one years ago!
We really like it. I have a dog with long hair (Golden Retriever) and was wondering if the hair would cause a problem, but that was not an issue. But sometimes it would gets hung up on my recliner, and this morning it emptied its dust collector 2 times within 10 mins after starting. 4 days ago, after it vacuumed the last time, I made sure the dust bag in the bin was not full, which there was lots of room, yet. I guess it just takes getting used to. It is also nice that I can control with my android cell phone, outside its weekly schedule that I programed what days and start times, to vacuum. Returning - Didn’t work well for us
Loved the self-emptying feature, that was really nice to not have to empty multiple times during a job. That was about all I liked about it though. It didn’t pick up things I would expect it to pick up from tile floors, like sesame seeds and crumbs. It would get stuck on the base of chairs and we’d have to move it or would get stuck going from the wood floor to the tile floor in the kitchen. We wanted to run it while we were gone or at night (since it isn’t all that quiet), but it would never finish a job because it would get stuck somewhere within the first 30 or so minutes of use. I would recommend thinking about the layout of your house, how big of a space will it be cleaning and the different types of flooring the vac may be moving over before purchasing. I am sure this is a great vac for a smaller foot print (we live in a Ranch) and somewhere there are fewer changes in floor types and less furniture to maneuver around.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Liberating!
I'm still in the learning stage, removing things in its path, deciding where I need to put it's base, thinking about a schedule, etc. but am enjoying no having to deal with my heavy upright vacuum cleaner that is absolutely wonderful -- yet difficult for me to use, in fact I'm not supposed to use it since being diagnosed w/osteoporosis. I have pets so need to vacuum every other day at a minimum. I have much to learn about my Roomba -- like where to get replacement bags. Mine chases the dogs.
My new vacuum to a while to learn the rooms, read smart maps. I have dogs so dog hair is a given. I started with 3 times a day and now I am early morning and mid afternoon. The vacuum can have problems with higher thresholds, normal or lower are fine. Overall I am totally satisfied. Powerful, manages to navigate difficult pieces of furniture.
I've only had the Roomba for about three weeks so I can't make a realistic evaluation yet. It seems to clean well but repeats some areas several times. It is noisy and when it empties it sounds like an turbo taking off. It seldom gets hung up on anything, and manages to get itself out of situations. Great vacuum
Had a little difficulty getting it to connect to my phone but once I resolved that, it’s functioned perfectly. The map feature is cool. It’s very good at carpet and uneven surfaces. Works great for our family!
I was a skeptic on robot vacuums before this, but we really needed the help with vacuuming since we have three little kids in our house. I asked around for recommendations on brand/model and had a number of people recommend the Roomba i3. I found a deal on the i3+ (self charging and emptying) and am glad I decided to buy. Amazing
It is super cliché that everyone on here has been saying that they should’ve gotten one years ago… But it is so accurate. I wouldn’t recommend this product to do 100% of your sweeping and vacuuming… But it is reliable to maintain rather clean floors. We have solid ceramic floor throughout our entire house two kids and two dogs and stuff just gets on the floor. Whether it be dirt or dust crumbs what have you… You feel like you have to wear socks all the time to keep it from getting stuck to your feet. Not anymore! It really does maintain a very clean house. I feel like it also urges me and the kids to have their toys and dirty clothes and anything else that might be scattered around the house picked up off of the floor so the rumba can do its job. So on top of it keeping my floor clean it makes me maintain a tidy house. I am in love with this product and would recommend it to anybody.
