The heat gun has a very solid feel about it and sits perfectly balanced on its end allowing hands-free operation. I used it very successfully on the low heat setting to swage (bell-end one end of the conduit to allow another piece to fit inside - saves on using straight connectors) some 20mm PVC conduit. The accessories are light-weight but fit for purpose. In conclusion, I am delighted with this purchase and am considering buying another for our overseas holiday home. Good quality and well priced heat gun
This is a good heat gun that's priced really well, with 2 heat settings of 300°c and 600°c it's perfect for various jobs from heat shrinking, paint removal etc...it's quite good quality and made from ABS which is a good strong plastic and will last a long time. The handle is made from rubber so gives you a firm comfortable grip, It also has 4 attachments so you can switch between them for different jobs. As a stickmaker, Iv'e owned and used numerous heatguns over the years but none as inexpensive as this one. For the last fortnight I have averaged at least 3 hours per day, heating and bending horn and so far,it's worked without fault. I can well believe it's blasting out 2kW on full heat. Even setting 1 is plenty for heat shrink sleeving, opening glue sticked joints etc. Power cord not stiff, nice and flexible.
