Strong and durable user friendly lock
Hi - you know when you see something that seems too good to be true? Well, when I purchased this lock to instal onto the side gate to increase the security of my property I hoped it to be as good as it looked in the listing. And the only reason I have bothered to review this lock is quite simply, it's well deserved - I love it! I was amazed at the quality and finish coupled with sensible installation instructions that were very easy to follow. The pack includes stainless steel heavy gauge coach bolts, which I drilled pilot holes for. The lock also has a real good weight to it. After careful installation I found the lock was a pleasure to use with any of the five keys supplied. you will be impressed to, in any high street shop this lock would cost you far more, not that I have seen one of these anywhere. An Chinese alternative to the Perry Lock
Looks good and feels like a quality lock. Time will tell if it gets picked. To open place key in barrel then push in, before key can turn from the inside. The outside just has to turn the key. Would have thought that both sides have a push in first. I'm planning on using 2 locks on back gate so I'll probably get the Perry as-well for piece of mind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality product
It's not often you buy a product and see it this well made and at this price. Quite easy to fit i did drill my holes too big( my fault) but this was soon sorted by using some plugs. The finished product looks amazing and I love the fact you get 5 keys with the lockaswell. Good sturdy lock, easy to fit
With the increase in garden walk-in thefts recently, I decided to fit this to my back garden gate. The lock is good and strong, and feels well made. Should keep out even determined thieves. The gate will probably fail before the lock gives. Comes with five keys. You may want to also buy a handle, I think there is one available which replaces the escutcheon plate. The fitting instructions say drill a 26mm hole for the lock hole. Unless you are good at drilling perfectly perpendicular holes by hand, I would recommend using a 28mm drill and give yourself a bit of leaway. Since the lock is going to be exposed to the weather, don't forget to lubricate it from time to time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Keeps peeps locked out
Well made, chunky exterior lock that’s easy to fit and comes with fitting hardware, however the screws aren’t the best and you’re probably better off getting some decent cross-head screws. Also don’t lose the 5 keys as I highly doubt you’ll find a Locksmith able to replace them but being able to unlock the gate from both sides is a great idea. A Great Convenient Simple to Use Locking Device.
Was easy for me to fit.Locking mechanism operated smoothly and seemed strong and well made. A very good product
This product was exactly what I wanted. Appears to be strong, well constructed, of good quality and easy to install. Reasonably priced and good value for money. My only minor criticism concerns the 4 small screws supplied to fit outside key-hole cover-plate in place. Great find - solves a perennial problem.
Yale type looks are a pain on a garden gate - plus most are not designed to be outside. This lock, which does not lock when the gate slams shut is the solution. It is really easy to fit and so far has proved to be very reliable with no signs of weathering.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
