Excellent quality awesome price
I was really surprised by the quality of these NGT distance marker sticks.There as good as any other brand except they are absolutely fantastic for the price.As long as you don't hammer them into the ground with a hammer or rubber mallet.Anybody who uses a hammer or rubber mallet on the bank needs there head seeing 2.If the ground is hard simply use some water to sofen the ground then use a bivvy peg to make a pilot hole place the marker sticks in the pilot holes job done.The green tops on the top of the sticks glow in the dark but only for a short time if this bothers you simply drill a hole in the tops and place a starlight in them i never bother lets face it most of us use a quality headlamp anyway. If you seriously want marker sticks then dont spend a fortune these do exactly the same job with ease.These sticks dont have grooves cut into them to stop the line from slipping off them all you need to do is keep the tension on the line as you wrap them around the sticks and that will work a treat.Why pay a small fortune after all a stick is a stick. I haven't anything negative to say about NGT marker sticks they work absolutely fantastic product there 19 inches long come complete with marker cord and a storage bag can't knock that for the price 10/10 well done NGT top quality item.AlienVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointed
Having open the packaging and then using them for the first time, the ground was slightly hard so I had to tap them in with a rubber mallet the first stick went in nice and straight so I started with the second stick on the last tap of the mallet the top which is fluorescent green plastic broke off leaving a rough edge which indeed kept catching my line. The tops need to be a bit better quality and not mage of cheap hard plastic. A fraction of the cost of other similar products. Do not hammer these in or you will damage them. Make a hole in the ground first and they will work just perfect. The glow in the dark tops need recharging each time (cast) if you insist on using them. I have been using them for about 6 months now and they have been good. Looked at lots of different ones decided on these ones as came as a package . pouch is good quality and it keeps it all tidy and stored nicely .
