Less Mess
Have used Excilor for about a month to treat recurrent infection of fungal toe nail. Unlike other treatments, there's no filing or scraping, just paint the affected nails with the solution. Even the worst nail seems to be growing out normally now, the last treatment I tried didn't touch it, so it's a success for me, I would recommend it. Jury is out for some time to come.
It is impossible to rate this product in a short space of time. It could take up to a year apparently before the user could say whether it actually works in eradicating nail fungus under the nail or not. If it works then the product would be both good value and quality and worth recommending. The jury is still out in my case and is likely to be for some months yet as I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and nails grow at a slow rate so I'm not expecting visible results to show for some time. Worth persevering - have patience
The infection is notoriously difficult to exterminate and success is dependent on the point at which treatment starts and the number of instances per limb. Fewer infected nails and early treatment gives a better outcome. Thus far, my experience has been that where the infection has had time to take hold, then the best outcome will be preventing the condition from getting worse rather than cure, but timely application seems to be effective in preventing infection from spreading and eventually reversing the extent of the infection. Do not expect instant results whatever the outcome. Have used Excilor for a number of years and it appears to be the most effective of those which I have tried, a major positive being that there isn't a requirement for sanding the nail prior to application, something that isn't always easy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Black nail..
Well I'm not sure if its working or not? It's only been three week'ish using it but, it has stopped my big toe from hurting? my little toe nail is just black cos the infection has taken over the nail so any improvement on that one will only become apparent if and when the nail starts to grow back... up to now its looking good but its early days...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to apply with included brush and with two treatments a day,I think the bottle lasts at least a month. The only down side is the shape of the brush handle which is tapered and I found it to be a bit slippery so I'm always afraid of it slipping out of my grasp. My chiropodist tells me the treatment can take over a year but it seems to be working after 3 months. Nails not getting any worse. I have now used this product religiously for 5 months, and really can’t say that it has made a jot of difference. In actual fact I think my toe nails are in a worse state than before I commenced its use. It claims a noticeable difference in two weeks, that didn’t happen. It is very easy to apply with the brush applicator, which I have done twice a day, and I am aware it may take up to 12 months to solve the problem. Having tried a few fungle nail treatments over the past 2 years that were not very succesful, I am so far, impressed with the Excilor product. Whilst it is expected to take several months if not a year to fully eradicate the infection, there has been a marked improvement after only a few weeks, so I will continue the treatment. Good Product
I have tried lot of remedies for nail fungus and antifungals both over the counter curanail ,clear zal, coltramizole, daktarin and natural remedies tea tree, various oils. UV lamp etc. I know there are a lot of variations of the infection so what is good for one person is not necessarily good for everyone. After all that this product is the best for me. It does actually stop the infection spreading and decreases it, albeit st a very slow pace. All remedies, apart from expensive laser treatment, have to wait for the nail to grow out so I am stuck with that. Good product that does not damage the surrounding tissue.
