MSI NVidia Geforce GPU - they just can't be beaten
Another superb GPU card from MSI NVidia Ge Force. It was supplied in double quick time and it looks like new even though it is a used item. Lots of bang for your buck!
Having done some research on comparison sites about NVIDIA's current offering (as well as cards from other manufacturers) it didn't take me long to realise the 1070TI was the best model for my budget/needs. I don't game much anymore, only when I can find the time so I'm not going to go spending £1k+ on a graphics card. I wanted a decent card that would allow me to run GTA5 and BF1/BF5 at the highest settings and still have a smooth gameplay experience without spending too much money and this card is the happy medium. With scores for performance coming in between the 1070 and 1080 (and the relative prices of those cards) and mixed reviews about NVIDIA's 2000 series of cards, the 1070TI seemed like the only contender. MSI's version first caught my eye because of the colour scheme as I knew it would look good in my rig (see photo). I've had MSI cards before and I've always been happy with the hardware. The overclocking and benchmarking software is also up there among the best, if not THE best - a quick browse of overclocking forums using a Google search will confirm this. I ran a quick test using MSI Kombustor at default settings (not OC) to see how the card fares and if it can manage the load without overheating and I was pleased with the results... It didn't have to work very hard and the fans stayed quiet throughout! I also maxed out the graphics settings on GTA5 and the game ran very smoothly. A fantastic increase in performance on my old card and all within the low £300's price bracket. I don't know how the card would fare playing the latest/most demanding games but for my needs, this card is perfect!

The pick of the crop?
Been an AMD user for donkeys but after buying a 1050ti last year and getting the same performance as my AMD R9 290 using 25% of the power was impressed enough to try another NVidia card. Lusted after the 1080ti (who didn't?) and was pleased to hear this had been released. It is silent in day to day use as fans do not spin up until you start to really hammer it gaming. fast and virtually silent
Tis fast as a fast thing. I can play a heavily modded Fallout 4 and it doesn't even break a sweat let alone make any fan noise. Amazing! Regarding the fans: when I first got installed the card, the fans didn't spin up which was very disconcerting. However, I soon realised the card was set to do this if they're not required. Quick and cool
