Kingston do it again
I was having trouble restoring Windows 10 on my notebook. I decided to load the recovery software onto the Kingston USB stick. I tried the recovery again and there we go working fine in fact I am writing this review on the notebook. The Kingston cost twice as much as the cheapo ones I bought but it worked brilliantly. Never use cheap media to carry out a recovery operation, use Kingston their, products really do what they say on the tin or in this case the packet!! Cheap but there is a reason.
It is USB 3.0, it is low cost but it is not fast but faster than USB 2.0. There are a lot of different speeds for USB 3.0 so you are better to shop around and get one that has a good upload speed specification rather than assuming it will save a lot of time. This is my second Kingston DT100 Data Traveller. Why buy 2? I was so impressed by the first one I purchased that I bought a second just in case. Good value memory stick
32 GB for such a low price, supporting USB 3.0 has got to be classed as very good value. Physically slightly larger than my 64GB stick, but this is not a problem unless you have two USB ports very close together and wish to connect two sticks simultaneously. Fast and accurate data transfer! 'Travel' with your data!
The USB stick is very well made. The sliding cover offers good protection for the USB connector. The storage stick seems to work fairly fast - with data being transferred quickly and accurately. Being mostly made of plastic, the stick doesn't seem to get too warm - as some metal ones do. I would definitely buy this product again.

This is different to many other memory sticks in its design, but that is to its advantage. It has a professional appeal and more suited to its term 'Traveler' because it would rest easily in the pocket or on a cord around the neck without causing discomfort. The essential aspect of that would be to carry all travel documents downloaded should the originals be lost. Also, contact information and medical needs, especially for an elderly person, would be comforting for a relative.
