Great value and loaded with features
I purchased the Yamaha Aventage RX-A3080 to replace a Sony A/V receiver that is considerably inferior in capacity and features. Having owned a Yamaha receiver before, and noticing the price point on this one, I pulled the trigger after some research. The unit sounds excellent and offered the greatest value of the quality receivers within my price range. It was no more difficult to install than other A/V receivers I have owned and offers a little room for growth into a more elaborate setup with better sound effects. The best of the RX series
Hello, this is everything the 3000 is plus Bluetooth. It is better at everything than the 3000 which is saying something. I would recommend it to enthusiasts on a strick budget. The only features left to add would be an epic, moving background screen saver and video share and would be awesome if my rx 3000 remote worked with it because it's much more than the 3080s remote. The instructions kinda left an empty feeling. I purchased this epic receiver and I'm still on a tablet looking for operation instructions. At this price it is definitely worth your consideration.
