Cheap solution to my needs!
I bought a few of these for my workshop because they're cheap & very handy for when I need to check/inflate my bicycle tyre pressures. My bikes have Presta type valves, but I only have Schrader type adapters with my air compressor & air kit, so these little fellas are just the job to make my kit fit my bikes for when I need to check the pressures or inflate. I only screw them on for when I check or inflate the tyres, but they can be left screwed in place on the Presta bike valves if preferred. I choose not to because I think they look a little bulky, & of course, you'll have to find a Schrader-type dust cap to pop on the end. Schrader valves are the larger type valves found on car wheels & Presta valves are the slimline type, which are generally found on bicycle wheels. The reason being that bicycle wheels were (& sometimes still) very narrow in profile therefore requiring the use of a slimmer valve. Does the job
Although the converter valve worked it was difficult to connect the pressure hose to once it was fixed to the wheel valve. It was very difficult to get off the wheel valve once the tyre was inflated and had to come off attached to the pressure hose. Having said that it did do the job, not sure I would want to try and use it with a hand pump on the road side though. I would expect to be buying a hand pump that fits the valve direct shortlyh.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Presta to Schrader valve on the Voodoo Hoodoo Hydraulic Mountain Bike
Hooray,I've finally got the right adapter for my bike.The last 2 I had didn't seem to work,i think it was the small 0 Ring that wasn't fitted on the ones I had before.This new one is excellent and it only took me less than 10mins to fit on my hydraulic bike,took me around 5mins to work out which way it screw's in,but the 0 Ring is at the bottom of the adaptor as you screw it in to the Presta valve clockwise.So much easier to use my normal foot pump now,i would recommend this product to anyone,but please make sure you have the O Ring fitted on these adaptors so it stops any air leak as you pump your tyresVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

very good quality,and came with the O rings fitted unlike some,,,, these are just so easy to fit, the inner tubes I bought by mistake had the presta valves these made it so easy to use a normal bike pump or footpump,,they are straight forward to use/fit .if in doubt just visit u tube theres loads of walk throughs,,,, anyway a highly recommended valve adapter..and a brilliant deal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bicycle tube valve adaptor
Having Presta valves on my bike tyres but pumps with Schrader Connections I decided to buy these simple adaptors. They easily screw on (don't for get to unscrew the Presta valve) then connect the foot pump or electric to quickly pump tyres up.
