The Perfect Wake-up from a Seista
I love this little compact bedside radio. Such a rich, warm sound to stir you from sleep. The volume is ramped it doesn't startle you out of your slumber but gently brings you alive to greet the day. The large digit display is perfect for viewing through half-closed, sleep-filled eyes. And it dims automatically when you turn the light off to go to sleep. How cool is that? Good little radio alarm

Auto dim too dim
Yes, a super little radio. Easy to programme but the auto dim in standby has been calibrated too dim. Makes it hard to read in your dark bedroom and difficult to read in sunlight. I've over ridden this mode by selecting manual illumination but of course the auto mode won't work in this setting. Beware also, the radio did not scan for stations on initial startup using the quick guide steps 1,2 and 3. I had to go into MENU and select AUTOTUNE to get it to scan when I first switched it on from new. Other than that, a great productVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect for what I wanted

Good but needs better instructions
Nice radio alarm but the instructions are pretty poor and they only give the very basics in simplistic form though not so easy to understand at first , anything more you have to download from their sight or send them an email with your questions. The alarm itself is rather nice and it fades down according to the light in the room so when its really black although you can see the clock it is not to bright to keep you awake like some I know. The sleep timer is easy to use once you know how and it fades out slowly when its time to go off so the sudden silence does not occur and is less likely to awaken you if you have dropped off to sleep . The sound quality is good and there are both bass and treble controls but you really need to down load the manual from the manufacturers to make the most out of it. I dont know why they dont send manuals these days they seem to think that you dont need to adjust them to your own taste or sound. The Alarms though are fairly straight forward to work.
