This beautiful horse platter can be used for so much more than chips & dips. I first thought it was decor such as an entrance or coffee table tray. Then I imagined it standing up on a fireplace mantle. The possibilities are endless. This must be a rare item. I have searched and only found 1 other for sale. Wilton was founded in the 1930's, as an iron, and later, brass, foundry. In the 1960's, they developed "Armetale", a proprietary aluminum alloy, originally used mostly in imitation of traditional pewter.
