Not as fast as expected
Great deal for Core i5 2TB HDD and 8GB RAM but surprisingly low performance for such a spec. The laptop doesn't start up much quicker than the 8 year old Windows 7 Acer Core i5 laptop that it replaces. I suspect it has something to do with all the pointless Windows 10 and Acer processes that will take me some time to disable once I identify them all. Annoying pop-ups from several apps - it's been a bit like that Whack-a-Rat game to switch them all off! I'm hoping that it will perform better once I've stabilised it but for anyone less technical, don't expect a fast machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lag Problem
So, at the beginning the computer seemed great, really lightweight, great capacity etc until it started to lag - A LOT. I haven’t ad any programs or anything and it stops running all the time. Excellent computer - very happy
Got a refurbished one and it’s been superb. A few scratches on the top but only slight and totally worth paying less for. The system is fast, screen is great. In the future I will definitely look here first for when my youngest gets to the age of needing a laptop. Of note the mouse tracker didn’t work and originally we thought we may need to reconfigure the system but actually it’s simply been turned off and just was a function key away. Easy. its OK not great
In honest for a laptop that is in this price band it does seem a tad cheap there is no caps or number function lights it is quick and quite light battery lasts around 2 hours is that long i dont know it as 2 tb and a fast processor but i do prefer my old laptop in honest it as a cheap feel if you understand what i mean but it does the job is quick games look good but i wd expect better for a laptop in this price bandVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Broken Touchpad
I just received my laptop. Everything works as brand new but the touchpad seems to be broken. It still clicks, but there seems to be another smaller click which is not registered, and I almost need to click "twice" for the touchpad click to be registered.
