GREAT CANE IF YOU NEED ONE AND PROTECTS AND LIGHTS YOUR WAY.
This walking cane with LED light and Zap is a terrific product,well thought out in every detail. I have a ankle problem the result of a broken leg not properly repaired. This cane supports my 190LB 6' 3" frame solidly with no sign of bending or instability. For my size I need it full extended to 36" and it still stays firm and strong. The handle is perfect shape to not tire your hand in use. The LED faces front and lights your way well with out being a beacon attracting attention or shining in other houses at night. Easy to aim light where you need it. Small button on bottom of handle fires the light. Tip is good size with good traction. Zap is mighty powerful,only used it on my vacuum cleaner but huge 6+ inches of sparks jumped all over a large area. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Won't go out without it
This is my second Zap cane, the first one I got 5 years ago but sadly got wet and stopped working. But I love it and need it so I got another one. I walk my black cat on a leash and where I lived before it was no problem. But where I moved, my neighbor, who hates cats and has a dog who hates cats, within a week he let his dog(with the dog still on his leash) attack my cat right next to me! I could do nothing but yell and try to kick the dog. Fortunately, my kitty only got herself free with only one scratch. But then every time I went out with her, the neighbor would come out wit his dog and make threats to me and my cat. As an older woman by herself, I was afraid. Until I got my Zap cane! I checked, and it was legal in Ohio. So the next time I went out and he got close with his dog I turned it on and waved it at him and his dog and told him I would taze them if they ever got close again! He called the police and they told him it was legal and just stay away from us. He still yells bad things at us, but I just turn the cane on and wave it around to remind him I always have it. LOL It;s sad I need it, as the police will do nothing about the harassment unless he causes physical harm, but great that there is this product that keeps him at bay. The newer model that conceals the tazing part may be good for some, but I like this one as it shows I am definately armed and to stay away. ZAP is perfect for mountain living
I live at 7000 feet elevation in a darling mountain community. Most of the time bears hang out near the local camp ground but in Fall they, as well as bobcats and larger predators, are spotted foraging for food. You never see cougars but know they are there. We live in their forest and this ZAP Cain is the perfect answer to feel safe walking my dog or just walking or hiking especially since the sun goes down earlier. Just hitting the button to hear the ZAP sound makes loose dogs run away. A helping hand
Since I can't test it on a random person, I of course will have to wait. But it is exactly what I was expecting. The light is powerful the arc is just right, It's quite and to the point. The height adjustment is easy to use. The handle is smooth and comfy. It is just like my cane but with a twist hahaha. I will recommend the ZAP CANE to all I know weather they have to use a cane or not. Side note I've named her BLAZE. Steady scary Cane
