    Good ridged tow pole

    This is a budget priced tow pole costing not that more than a tow rope. The unit breaks down to handy size to stow in the boot of the car in a handy carry bag. It is easy and quick to put together and easy to fasten on to the rear towing eye of the front vehicle and just as easy to fasten to the front towing eye of the rear car. It took me longer to locate the towing eyes in the boot of the cars and screw them into the threaded holes on the cars, than to assemble ant attach the tow pole. All round a great product easy to use and easy to store. The only improvement would be a laminated instruction card. As it is always wet and windy when you go to use these things.

    Does the job

    Did the job no problems. A small clunk taking up the slack, but for slow, short distances perfectly acceptable. May not be as good as those fitted with a spring, but if like me you only want it for emergencies or single use, perfectly adequate (especially at 1/3 the price of a sprung item). Marking the carry-bag 'ON TOW' for a sign on the rear of the towed car would have been a bonus.
