Epic kit for a projector
Small and easy to install and use. Great price. Simple to join the free month movie pass to original account with tv pass. Only downside is the search, half the time it doesn’t find things you are looking for my example was when I typed in Rookie and it said they don’t have it, scrolled down the tv guide and there it was. Also 911 can’t be found 9-1-1 can be. Small but irritating problem. I usually use my PS4 for Now but I wanted to use on my projector to watch GOT with the family without having loads of wires. Connection not good enough
Unfortunately this does not pick up the wifi sufficiently to watch any TV shows. I have a smart TV and an older style Now TV box, and never had a problem, but using this stick in the exact same place, all I get is buffering. Well worth the money.
Great value for money when you include the Cinema pass. Mine also included a Sky store movie voucher. I have only purchased the Cinema pass at the moment but the other content seems good and the Sports passes can also be tailored to specific events if so desired. I have found that technically the product performs well with my set up and I have yet to see any buffering even with HD content on YouTube. The user interface can take some familiarisation and the content you have saved for later is not always apparent from the Home screen. Initial setup is reasonably straight forward though there is a bit of extra work to do if you wish to use the Sky store facility to access the latest offerings from the film industry.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Spot on / Best price I could find online
Spot on - Best price I could see online @ £13.85. Arrived fast and brand new as advertised. After looking at the amazon stick, we decided on the now tv stick because it was less than half the price and we wanted to use primarily as a smart TV update ie catch up for channels 1-5 (we have an older smart tv which only allows for Netflix and iPlayer), though have enjoyed some of the sky free trials so may use sky features in the future. Sky now TV - Does ask for bank/card details on set up, but from what I can see won’t charge you unless you sign up for a monthly passes (which can be cancelled at any time). As I say, we mainly got this for BBC iPlayer, all4, itv player and my5 - all of which work a treat. One thing to note if you have a wall mounted tv/screen, we needed to get an HDMI adapter as our HDMI female socket is on the rear of tv, therefore there isn’t enough space for the stick as it is obstructed by wall. Easy fix as plenty of HDMI right angle adapters/extensions available from a few quid. It does mention this in the now tv instructions (bit late when you’re sat in your home trying to plug in tbh, but can’t grumble too much for the price here). Only improvement I would look out for is that the stick had a hinge (like many HDMI adapters) so the above problem doesn’t need to occur... no doubt a cost issue for the manufacturers. Decent enough
How should I put it. It performs well enough and justify the price tag. The older boxes were easier to setup you just plug and play. With the new one it will not work until you have activated your pass whatever it was bundled with. Non tech will find this step a little bit of a pain. Great little Now tv stick
Well its just early days but so far so good. I am able to watch Netflix so I am happy. It was easy to set up and watch contrary to all the negative comments I had read. Great selection for a good price
Great little gadget that helps you get the best of sky movies whether it is live or catch-up. My favourite part of this is you can store movies on your watch list and come back to them at a later time. With the right collection of passes you can have the sky experience for a fraction of the price. Make sure you have a strong wi-fi signal as I feel the stick struggles a little bit and I feel things are a bit sluggish at times. Good value with the Sky Cinema pass
This works well and is good value. However, I wait to see how it performs in future as the last NOW TV stick I had failed after about 9 months and as I couldn't find the receipt was unable to return it. Exactly what I expected and good value for money. I can use it in any tv in my house that has a HDMI port. Not sure if I shall continue with sky cinema pass as we already have Netflix and the movies are much the same although Netflix doesn’t have any Disney movies.
