Not too noisy, does a good job!
Our dog hates to have her feet touched, I turned it on and moved it up and down her leg. She got used to the noise and the vibration. This isn't too loud so she wasn't afraid of it. It’s fine if you don’t want to spend that much money
This is like any other dremel out there. It’s just a 1-2 setting tool. It’s as loud as regular ones and still bothers my dog when I need to use it. It does however grid the nails down just fine and as far as I can tell dogs like it more than clippers. It uses regular sand paper bits so it’s nothing special. If you own a dremel just use that one, it will work better and faster with no need to spend 30 on another one, on a low setting. I would have given it a 4 star but it says it’s quiet which is not true. Any dremel on a 1-2 setting will sound the exact same. I recommend using a nicer one with a 3-4 setting and a grit sand paper and a fine sand paper. You will be much happier with thatVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

does a great job on the doggy nails
does a great job rather than the old clippers whick left ragged nails and had to fight the dogs to get them to sit still. They don't mind the Dremel and it leaves a smooth nail so it is much easier on my wood floors. Only caution is to be careful with dogs with long fur on their toes. Quiet and comfortable!
I was really surprised by how quiet this dremel was. Very happy purchase for me and our dog. We've tried a few grinders in the past but they were very loud (dog ran from noise)and you could feel the vibration in your hand trying to use those. This dremel is so quiet it doesn't scare our dog!!! Also it doesn't make my hand feel like it'll fall off from vibration, it's very well built. Only used once so far but very happy. Time will tell for durability but feels like it'll last awhile. Also added picture of the dog so you can all see size.

A great product
I have another one of these but I wanted to have a 2nd one as a backup in case something happened to my 1st one. It works really well it sands my dogs nails down really well and the battery stays charged up for several uses too. I grind my dogs nails weekly so I'm not using it for a long periods of time. Simply the best
I bought the equivalent dremel 7.2 cordless for £80 in 2000 which lasted until recently when the battery failed to hold its charge. This model is no longer available and a replacement battery is unobtainable. When I looked for a replacement I was unable to source this in the UK so I had to order it from the US. This meant I had to separately purchase a 240V to 110V voltage converter for the charger. That said the grinder is simply the best for my whippets' nails as it is quiet, powerful and with little or no vibration in operation. The battery lasts at least long enough for four dogs.
