Super Simple to Use
For those in a hurry, these are perfect! They are both accurate and easy to use for a quick check of your chlorine level. They also check Alkalinity and PH levels. For the $12 I paid, I wouldn't use anything else. Keep in mind that these are only refills! IMPORTANT - Read This
I was apprehensive about this product because these things have more negative reviews than positive ones. And testing results were very inconsistent and wildly fluctuating at first. Then I discovered that timing was absolutely critical. When you press the start button, the display scrolls through the following: 3 - 2 - 1 - dip - on When it gets to "dip", you'd better be dipping the test strip right then. And when it says "on", you'd better be putting the test strip into the device. Once I started adhering to this regimen, I started getting consistent, reasonable results. So I guess I'd say I'm pretty pleased with it at this point. I don't have to match and interpret the colors. The device gives me numbers.
