    needs to be able to be set at a higher heat.

    It does get the chocolate quite hot enough for dipping a thin shell on the item to be dipped. I had to use a rubber knife to spread the chocolate on the orange slices. Next time I am going to melt the chocolate on the stove and then put it in the Wilton and keep it at its highest level of heat and hope that will work. It would be nice if there was a way to get the Wilton set to a some what higher heat.
