A hammer to be proud of but get a cheap heavy hammer as well to do the actual work.
A lot of thought has gone into designing this hammer and it shows. It's especially good at removing clips. A lot of other reviews go on about the balance of the hammer, I don't know what they're talking about, it's a hammer, what's balance got to do with anything?? The soft rubber grip feels great in the hand. My only problem with it is that it is too lightweight, when putting clips into a springy wall made from plywood I had to borrow someone else's heavier hammer to get them to go in as this lightweight hammer just bounced. I love this hammer but I am going to buy a cheap heavy hammer to back this one up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

tight area staple driver
Romex staples are well driven from side of head, end of claw and the usual hammer face.With 2x4 block, works well as outlet box placer(12 1/2")Nice light head bends romex staple nails less and works in the squeeze between tight studs,etc. Pusher handle end stuffs wires well into boxes. I ground claw end a bit to use as hammer face(s) in really tight areas, preferring to not use as staple claw puller.
