Heiki 2 far better design, quality, and lower cost than original manufacturers fitment!
I opted for a Heiki 2 roofliight to replace the original rooflight fitted to a Chausson 93 camper primarily due to its very competitive price and simplicity of operation. The original fitting had a poorly designed opening winder mechanism which had seized [quite a common fault], and it was impossible to source just the replacement opening section which had been badly damaged in the winter gales! The Heki 2 is slightly larger than the original which meant the roof of the camper had to be modified but this was not too difficult once the large Chausson interior roof moulding was removed. The actual fitting of the Heki 2 was quite simple using white Sikoflex and the extremely simple fitting kit provided. Modifying the camper's poorly designed roof moulding actually took longer than fitting the new rooflight! The Heki is a far better quality product, far easier to use, and gives a greater opening when installed. I fully expect its simple opening system, and quality of manufacture, will give many years of trouble free service.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

sadly i found no instructions from purchasing this item. so looked on line and fitted as described but sadly hinge broke on first use as roof had slight curve. on reflection this is very flimsy and not an easy fix unless you buy another surround. but it does let light in and that was what it was purchased for. a little expensive as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
