Excellent product. Easy to install. Easy to set up and test (if you have purchased two of the same type). Only minor criticism is the manufacturer's instruction sheet: Not clear to those who aren't familiar with these type of products, which base plate screw location holes should be used (there are numerous options) none of which are mentioned! Special Note: This product is a HEAT alarm, not a smoke alarm. It works by sensing changes (increases) in heat within an area in a given time measurement. The product is NOT a smoke alarm. The communication method is RF (Radio Frequency), NOT WiFi. One product, when linked via RF with another compatible alarm, will set the other product to activate (alarm sounds) in the event one is set off to begin with. Hence, one of these heat alarms activated in a garage, will activate another, for example, installed in a kitchen.
