A playable scale model for all farm enthusiasts
My 9 year old son loves this barn - to store and play with his Britains / Siku farm stuff... It is better than I thought it would be - consider it a playable scale model rather than an outright toy - so probably not suitable for the very young or heavy handed child. Some parts (fencing and gates) appear a little delicate. That said, my son does move it (carefully) from room to room so far without issue - however it probably wouldn't survive a drop. Easy for an adult to build but has no back wall, leaving it teetering on thin posts at the rear, compromising durability. Figures are well-detailed except for some scale issues (sheepdog-size chickens!) limiting its educational function. Hay-bales are small enough to choke on. Nicely desimgned
The barn is bigger than you think. The picture does not show that it does not have a back wall or wall on right side. That’s no problem though because is is how a barn would be in real life. Detail is lovely. Would not suit rough play. I bought it to use in a scale model. The cows and accessories which came with it are the usual high Britain’s standard.
