Still not sure
Pretty loud voice alarm but you can muffle speaker on back. Has not picked up any of the gas odors I bought it for yet. Air quality TVOC's go up during the times I smell gas, so perhaps it's not quite as sensitive as my nose? More research is necessary by me.
