Great Cutters at v very good price.
Great tool for the "do it yourself person". My immediate use was for cutting a Cycle front Brake Inner Cable to length. It easilly cut this with no crushing and left it perfect for the fitting of a nipple. I rated the tool heavy because that is what is need for this type of tool. Not that heavy duty.
I bought these for cutting mountain bike gear cables but they are not lasting, they cut the inner cable fine but the outer cable is a struggle after several cuts,. I know these are meant for copper and alu but heavy duty suggests they can handle it , big brand ones cost more but last way longer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Although described as only cutting copper and aluminium cables, I bought these to cut my steel bicycle cables. They worked. Bought these to cut bicycle break and gear cables which are obviously pretty skinny cables. They were awful. Couldn’t cut through them, absolutely rubbish. Don’t know what they would be good for but certainly not cutting anything. Avoid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
