Completely silent clock, no ticking, no buzzing, just wonderful sleep zzzzzzzzz.
Wonderfully silent. I had previously bought mechanical, so called silent clocks before, and although they were very quiet to start with, they always became louder with use, and were never completely quiet in the first place. This one however is indeed completely silent, I was concerned that it might give off a glow, (having bought it for my bedroom) but I am pleased to say that in a dark room I cannot see it at all. The only minor negatives are, the price which to my mind is a bit expensive, although if it's important to you to have a completely silent clock, it is worth it. Also, I could not make my clock set itself via the radio signal, I left it for 36 hours moving it to two different positions, but no joy, but I just set it manually. Also, I used to be able to tell the time in dimming light with my old clock, but this one needs to be in a bit more light for me to read it clearly, but this is me being very fussy. Nice kitchen clock
Took just a short time to find the radio signal. Takes a bit of getting used to having no physical clock fingers as they are digital, but keeps accurate time. Useful day and date display and temperature. Looks white in photo, which would have been better, but has a grey bezel and grey face with black data. Hangs on the wall or on a stand. Tick withiut the Tock
The only digital faced radio controlled wall clock I could find. the quality appears to be good but only time will tell. I thought the clock case was white when looking at the pictures which is what I wanted for the kitchen, but it turns out to be silver, not a big issue but be aware. The appearance is quite pleasing. Yet to find out how long a set of batteries last. The price I paid was the best that I could find at the time of purchase, it's not the cheapest electric clock, that said I probably would buy it again (hoping I won't need to). There is nothing not to like. Lovely clear display. Also can be set to show the British date format (day/month). Has many functions you can even choose weather or not to display the seconds sweep hand. Picked up the time signal in a couple of minutes. Don’t know how long 4AA batteries will last.
