    Excellent Strings

Great strings if you are replacing round-wound 9-'s or 10's and fancy a change... I take the g string off and put on a non-wound one. These are considered light gauge for jazz players but I like these on my Tele, no string buzz and I get great sounds. I change them less than rounds also.

    Slightly disappointed.

I have used Daddario strings many times on both acoustic and electric guitars and been very happy with them. I heard very good things about these chromes so decided to put on my Rick 350 to get that vintage tone. Tried everything but just sound very average, i was expecting much more from them.

  • Flat Wound Chromes

Hi Makes my guitar come alive. So easy on the fingers can get close action without buzzing. Wish I had known about them earlier. Regards 2575george

  • A different playing experience

I use these with an acoustic folk guitar in place of phosphor-bronze round-wounds. Light for quick finger-work. No more fret-squeak moving up and down the neck. Guitar almost plays itself. Expensive but worth it.

Nice tone at a comparatively reasonable, but not cheap, price

  • For me the flatwound strings are the best for easy playing.
