Love it!!!
This is something I used to have regularly as a kid in Belfast and I loved it and have hankered for it ever since. I hounded friends and relatives to bring it to me when visiting "across the water". Now I can place an order and have it delivered to my door as fresh as if I was buying it from the green grocers of my youth. For many it may be an aquired taste - but if you love the taste of the salty sea then please please give it a go Fresh, well packaged and ...well just great!! Never tried dulse before...
...so I have nothing to compare it with. I fried a bit. Crispy bits did taste like bacon (salty bacon). Tried a bit raw salty, nice, bit chewy (it is seaweed after all). Then I dehydrated the rest which didn't take long to be ready and broke it up into very small pieces to season my rice with. Big thumbs up. Felt like I was doing good for myself eating it.
