Not for linux or newer Mac. Worked well with OS 10.8 and much cheaper than onboard wifi card.
The dongle worked with Windows XP and Mac OS 10.8 but not with linux (Puppy Linux from 2010 or 2014) so I gave it to a friend for use with Mac OS 10.8 because it was much cheaper than replacing her onboard wifi (which was probably in a dead wifi slot). Other more expensive dongles sometimes work with linux too. This one is presumably a bit outdated and never had linux support. I think I also tried ndiswrapper with it and that failed too. I had gotten a different USB wifi dongle working that way but it would keep losing its connection and also cause linux to crash. This stick is alright, very weak
Good signal, good speed and works with windows 10. Its very weak and mine has broke now, horrible shipping time (almost didnt make the latest date). RT5370 is actually RTL8189FTV which doesn't work well in Linux
