Better than the originals
After fitting these air bags (with no problems at all once I’d worked out to use the air intake pipe clips supplied rather than the bmw ones) I have covered over 200 miles with a full load & the air bags performed perfectly. They actually fitted better than the originals as there was no chafing on the cars body. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a 2003- bmw x5 e53 requiring rear air bags.
