Very easy to use and I prefer the grips to the pins as they help to hold stray hairs in place. My hair is quite short and I was worried they wouldn't work on my hair, but with the choice of sizes they're perfect. I'll be taking them holiday with me. I have fine shoulder length hair, there was enough rollers to style my hair. The rollers heated up fast and felt comfortable when left to cool in my hair. I personally would not purchase this product again. I found that the curl did not hold on my hair and the temperature of the rollers did not seem to get very warm.
