Does not work on brand new Honeywell ceiling fan!
Unfortunately, the Honeywell Universal Ceiling Fan & Light Remote Control, 40011 did not operate on our brand new Honeywell ceiling fan. According to our electrician most of them don't work unless they come with the fan. I really wish I had a remote for my light fixture. I was really bummed about it.

Could not install
I could not get the product to work. Even the transmitter would not blink red when a button was depressed. New battery did not help. No idea why it would not function. Double checked wiring. I subsequently purchased another unit which I had not problem with. I returned the unit with no problem which pleased me.
