Very good product but sound quality could be better and louder
The product is great for its features especially with an sd card slot for added storage space. The user interface is quite straight forward although it is very slow but overall gets the job done. The clip is very handy and sturdy. The build quality is very solid. The major flaw in this product is the sound volume. The product is very silent at full volume and I cannot understand why it is slow low especially since this product is targeted towards people who go to gym or do physical activities which are usually accompanied by high volume environments. Sound quality on the other hand is better by not that great either. Overall gets the job done as a gym mp3 player where build quality matters the most. Useless
Waste of money!!!! I only used for 1 day as it is useless now. Firs it froze, the music was paying but the buttons did not work. On my other Philips MP3 player there is a reset button but not on this one. So had to open it and short circuit the battery which worked but when I tried tu put it back together I have list some tiny bits from the volume buttons... The volume was annoying anyway as it asked every time the safety thing... I will not buy a Sandisk product anymore!@!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Avoid like the plague if you think it will replace a Clip Zip
I bought the Sport foolishly thinking it would be a superset of the Zip features. What a mistake that was. The Sport is really a crippled Zip. There is not even a capability to add an album to the Go-List on the fly. I accidentally left the Sport at an overseas site and have never bothered to retrieve it. I have gone back to my old Zip despite some of the buttons needing repeated excessive force before they respond. I cannot believe that Sandisk has thrown the Zip baby out with the bathwater. Sound quality and battery life is irrelevant if you can't manage the next listening session with Go-List.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It might be even more user friendly
The screen is big enough for large letters and other characters. Visually impaired users, we need help with a magnifier. After returning to the MUSIC mode or podcast or audiobook should immediately start playback at the point where it previously stopped. Indeed, it is the user that has to find the location, if after an interruption of listening to the radio or switch to another menu. Modified playback speed and the equalizer can not be used simultaneously. It is very distracting when listening to bad sound recordings of audio books and podcasts. Function fast rewind or fast-forward should allow movement across the border of the current record.
