High Quality
When the words quality and Eastern are put together people, especially in the United States of America, will give you a strange glare. The PKA is a ruggedly beautiful optic with tough being the first word when its name is mentioned. While the finish is nice, albeit with slight bubbling, it is not for looks. The construction is built like a Soviet/Russian Tank and is meant to last through anything the user can throw at it. The optic comes with a manual, case, and lends caps attached to the optic. All of which are quality made. Currently I am awaiting my SGL-21 (Russian Made AK) to be delivered and I can not wait to test this optic on the range and in a training environment. PK-A Venezuela = AWESOME
Received this Red Dot Collminator Scope about 4 Days after purchase. Was shipped FREE USPS Priority Mail to Hawaii. Seriously, you can tell that it's built like a Tank! I used 1 AA Alkaline Battery (Can use Lithium Rechargeable Batteries too). Has 8 Brightness settings. Setting #1 is used for Night Vision Goggles/Scope (Granted, you own one) Settings #2 is a tiny visible dot. Of course, the size and brightness goes up as you gradually "click" to a higher number. I found that at Settings 7 and 8, it's super bright and a bright red ring will show up as a reflection of the dot. You probably won't see the ring if you're outside one super bright days. However, you'll see it if you're indoors or in low light conditions. I found that Setting 3 thru 5 is PERFECT for me! If you're eye sight is diminishing. Perhaps, a brighter setting would work for you?! -- I used this scope the following day at an outdoor Shooting Complex with a covered shooting platform. Was bright out and I could still see the dot @ setting 2. When I initially mounted the scope and locked it in on my "modified furniture" (Krebs AMD-65 Stock Adapter, MFT Minimalist, & Magpul Zhukov stuff "Plum" ) on my VECTOR AMD-65. (My AMD-65 didn't come with a side rail mount, I personally installed it to my receiver) Right away the dot was "centered" directly over my front sight. Has a 1x Magnification. I made really minor adjustments for zeroing at 100 yards, 7 shots @ 3.73" = Not bad @ all. Removed the scope a few times because I'm so used to my irons. Put the scope back on and locked it in. "Still" grouping was pretty good. I really like how it mounts close to the receiver cover. Took it out to 250 - 300 yards on 18" and 22" Gongs. My rifle alone with iron sights CAN hit this plate @ 300 yards no problem. YES, AMD-65 with a 12.5" Barrel + 4" Muzzle Brake!!! The PK-A red dot just allowed me to get on target a lot faster with little hesitation, while going back and forth from 250 and 300 yards. -- I would definitely recommend this PK-A Venezuela Red Dot Collminator Scope!!!

Authentic style Combloc optic
This is a simple, rugged, reliable red dot optic that sits low on the firearm unlike a lot of other sights that require a chin weld. It also has the appropriate and authentic Russian "look" that compliments the AK platform nicely. There is a distinct shadowed tube effect when viewing thru the optic and more modern designs are probably a bit more efficient for both CQB and extended range shooting. Great optic
Looks cool, very solid and works well. I installed on a Zastava M70 ZPAP and it required adjusting the tension on the locking mechanism. It had quite a bit of play on the rail before doing so. Mine did not come with a manual or paperwork, so to make this adjustment you need to remove the plate on the bottom of the locking mechanism, turn the gear until it tightens, and then reattach the plate. After doing so, mine is now rock solid on the gun. Very happy. Would purchase again. Only negatives are it is a little heavy and the lack of any magnification.

Super solid red dot. Nicely cowitnesses on my saiga 12 clone. Also has to have the least fussy ak mount that I’ve ever used. Required no adjustment at all.
