Save Time, Buy Pedal
As an amateur electronics tinkerer, I've spent many hours modding used Boss DS-1's, turning it into a lower-gain booster/overdrive, finally arriving at just the pedal I was hoping for. Last night I carefully A/B-ed it with the Pure Sky thru a Vox AC 10. Almost the same pedal ! I could have saved a lot of money and time had I known... My customized DS-1 has a bit more mid-range honk and is a little grittier, the Pure Sky cleans to straight boost, has a little more upper range bite and tone control, but very, very similar. If you're looking for something to heat up your tone, (especially above apartment volume levels) buy it. Will make your leads sing at an unbeatable price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for the Money if it Lasts
So far so good. I've had it three weeks and used it about ten times. The proof in the pudding is ... if it lasts a bit. It was under $35.00. Similar products sell for $50-250. best all around pedal
I think this is going to be one of them pedals people will say I should have bought one of those Caline pure sky pedals... back in the day they were 30 bucks..lol... this replaced my Xotic pedals/ suhr pedal/tube amp/ Im using Quilter ... works really good with non-tube amps... . I play a Fender Strat with Dimarzio pickups...I found that I had to lower the pickups and got even a better tone.. The pedals pots are sensitive and easy to find a sweet spot.. just buy it ...
