This is a great rotary cutter. A good chunky handle making it easier to grip, great for those who have difficulty with grip. Good quality and extremely good value. Quilted Bear soft grip rotary cutter
Bought this for my 9 year old grandson to use for cutting fabric. He’s a keen sewer with his own little sewing machine. He’s left handed & I found it impossible to source a sharp but small enough left handed pair of scissors that he’d find comfortable, safe & easy to use. This design of rotary cutter means he can use it easily, whilst I, a right-hander, can also use it because the cutter handle is straight not curved like most other rotary cutters, so you can see what you’re cutting if you’re left handed. Cutting excellence!
After much deliberation about whether or not to buy a rotary cutter I gave in and bought one. I was expecting the Quilted Bear brand, however received the Siesta brand alternative, as the former was out of stock. Apart from the colour, I was expecting pink, I see no real difference. It’s so easy to handle and cuts like a dream. I will be using it for dressmaking, so will still have to use scissors, but this handy little tool will save me time when cutting along straight lines (and when I master it, curved ones too no doubt)! I have always wanted a cutter like this it goes through the fabric like a hot knife through butter. Bought a cutting mat too , I recommend you use one with this super sharp blade.
