I didn't think so many steel pennies still existed. But the roll came complete. The roll had each series, P, D. & S. The quality was about expected for steel pennies nearing 75 years of age, no bright and shinning stars in the roll.
Although there were some nice coins in the three rolls, about ten of them were so badly corroded that you could not even make of Lincoln or other features on the coins. But all-in-all, the majority of the coins were of good quality.
My roll was not average circulated condition, really bad condition with lots of corrosion. 8 were total junk with two copper cents mixed in. Do Not Buy, the worst I have ever seen. This is the first review I have ever written, I had to warn others about this crap!
They are not uncirculated so wear is expected. Bag they came in wore due to shipping vibration and a hole had deceloped which resulted n pennies spilling everywhere when I opened the package.
This is a roll of steel pennies. Not a big deal, some where quite tarnished. But it looks pretty much like the picture. The roll was contained in a nice plastic tube. Great for collectors.
The case holding the pennies was broken and taped so they wouldn't fall out (useless after opening it). The majority of the pennies were corroded or in the process of corroding. Price was high for this condition.
This roll was a good value because the coins were pretty nice for a roll that inexpensive. I pulled a P-D-S set that was a strong BU. There was a good split in the mint marks with enough really nice coins to make me happy.
I didn’t expect these pennies to be in mint condition. However they are in such bad shape most of them are unreadable. All of them possess some kind of damage or rust.
