Lightweight and sturdy
I compared other makes but didn't want a metal door for several reasons. Firstly metal rusts and that looks tatty, secondly metal can be sharp and injure the animal. This door is plastic and much better and for the amount of time the pet is actually in the basket, it is peace of mind that its stability is good and no sharp edges.
