Worth the effort
As others have commented these are a very tight fit. I tried putting them in boiling water for a few minutes before using a mallet to tap them into the holes in the pan. They wouldn't go in so I tried again using some washing up liquid for lubrication before giving a sharp blow with the mallet - no joy - wouldn't go in past the bulbous bit. I lost my nerve at this point and decided to carefully reduce the wide part of the fixing with a sharp knife - repeated the boiling and lubrication and gave a firm whack with the mallet - success! Once inserted the fixing provides a very solid anchor. Note that the pack contains just one wellnut.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Needs minor modification.
I used it for Duravit Stark 1 floor-mounted Toilet with cistern. The bulging portion of the nut wouldn't go through the hole. I had to shave off that portion with a cutter to make it fit. Less than a minute of shaving work. The nut has thread that fits the original screw perfectly. Tried universal fitting for my Duravit soft close loo seat. They were terrible. Got the proper fittings and they are just so much better. Heated them up for 10-15 mins and a quick but confident ‘tap’ with a soft mallet had them in. They are rock solid.
