Bought this product to replace a mechanical 8 day clock that I had owned for some years and did not think that a modern one would be as good, I was wrong. This clock has the choice of two different chimes it also has a volume control and chimes can be silenced at night. This is a very well presented clock. It is very well made and finished. It comes from a world renowned maker. It looks great on my sitting room wall- it will look great anywhere in your home. The chimes and hourly strikes can be turned off- turned up fairly loud or turned down very low in volume levels as you wish. Seiko, light oak clock.
Normally, I like a real clock, but my other half wouldn't be able to afford to service the movement every few years. This clock looks like a quality clock and will only require a new battery every year. The case is solid oak varnished in medium oak and is really an attractive piece of furniture in its own right matching the rest I have.
