Air Seperator Spirovent RV2 Swivel 22mm UA022W
This air separator its a quality item, very well built made out of cast brass. Easy to fit with an extra deep joint on one side to allow fitting into fixed pipework. It can be fitted horizontally or vertically allowing the body to swivel to the required vertical position in almost any fitting position. I fitted this item to a fully vented central heating system which had suffered previously and continued to do so from air locks and constant air presence in the system which was proving extremely difficult to eradicate. After fitment of the Spirovent and running the system up to temperature the air content in the system had depleted considerably. After about one hour of running the air noise in the pump was hardly noticeable, a further two - three hours and all air had been removed with the pump running as quiet as a mouse. I think spirovent give a 20 year guarantee which is a real bonus. I would definitely fit another in place of those silly bean can deaireators which don't seem to work at all and can't be serviced or accessed internally.
