Nice compact BBQ
Even thought this is small you can still cook quite a lot on the cooking area. The coals heat evenly and there is a very useful air vent at the bottom to help it along. Because it is small it is easy to keep clean and store away. Is cast iron the righ name?
The adjustable vent looks more flimsy than the old version. That was cast iron, this isn't. The main drawback in my view is that the current grid that charcoal rests on is also not cast iron and the spacing between the bars is very wide and can allow smaller pieces of charcoal to drop through. Fortunately, I still have the previous cast iron version, corroded and broken, but placed on top made it better to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Old stalwart - excellent and stylish design and materials; great feature of "window" to draw fire, works well; solid cast metal, takes the punch and not scared of being outside in winter; economical on charcoal, can make small bbq just for two; good patio heater when cooking over; pretty portable just not foldup. Disappointed
Only the top bowl is cast iron. Easy to assemble until the last two handles which were awkward. One larger nut/bolt missing. Can use the top bowl as fire pit? The grill height mountings are very week one snapped in two even before use

Not like the picture
Disappointed isn’t the right word. Not like the picture! Top part cast(cheap cast at that) but bottom half including ash pan and legs are tin! Opening for ash is also tin and not like the picture.
