1000 watts, NOPE.
If I put a true 1000 watts on this speaker I would be wearing the cone as a hat cause it would hop right out of the frame!!! I’m running a PPI power class PC275 on it bridged. So 2ohm about 600W volume almost off, low pass and I smoked the first one I had, smoked it like a big ‘ol bowl! The first one I received the dust cap came loose after about two weeks of play and became completely useless. Don’t get me wrong these 8’s sound awesome but 1000 watts is a BIG B I G stretch.

Great product at great price
sounds very good, running it with a 200 Watt RMS amp at half sens. It requires the correct enclosure. I have it in a 11' RAV4 oem location but dynamatted all openings with added insualtion.

Works good, sounds good, and looks good. The watt ratings are higher that what it can actually handle so it sounded distorted on the amp and doesn't get super loud, but it sounds fine.
