Although at first sight this product seems expensive, after trying to line up basin taps on a ceramic basin with rounded edges around the tap holes, and finding the washers to seal the taps on the top of the sink kept distorting and shifting I looked for a solution. I tried different washers, plumbers putty and silicon. All failed. The basin in question is now discontinued- I suspect because the tap openings were not presenting enough flat area to make a seal. I then came across the Essex fix-a-tap kit. Result-first time success. So considering about 10 hours of re-fittings and trips to suppliers before trying the ' fix -a-tap' kit it was very cheap indeed. The kit neatly aligned the taps centrally and enabled a secure water tight fit. If I had started with it, my better half would not think I was a plonker.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
